JUERGEN’S NEW INDUSTRY IN KRAEKWINKLE

Well it’s certainly Gnot conventional, would you expect otherwise. Easter Island Statues? If you can work out what the layout looks like let me know. :? http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e341/Kraehwinkle/Figuren/KurzerZug11.jpg Thread is here: http://gn15.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5615

GAVIN’S HAYWARDS ESTATE RAILWAY

This entry has been a long time coming due to its popularity with comments bringing it to the fore in MM. You have to wait until page 4 to find layout details, here they are: 24"x43", 8" radius curves, and using PECO On30 track. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r192/Gavin_Sowry/atta...

MATT’S LUMPY BARMCAKE & SALTED CRACKER

Lumpy Barmcake and Salted Cracker is a Gn15 ish cartoon layout inspired by the likes of FR Emmett, Tim Burton, Trumpton et al and Aardman Animations. Layout is 4’x18”, part of a door. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd176/mjwildsmith/IMG-20120505-00047.jpg Thread is here: http://gn15.info/forum/v...

DON’S DISPLAY BASE DIORAMA

Great combination of different textures, complains about the cracked cobbles – looks just like crack in my textured concrete drive.
No dimensions given.

Re: Virtual Exhibition

Next group will appear shortly - as well as a classic that's been a long time in the wings; there's more than a little humour in a couple of the entries.
Just what's needed to brighten up a dismal day in the UK. Enjoy.
Two more sets to follow which will complete the update for this (last) year!

Re: Virtual Exhibition

You will, no doubt, have noted that the update is in progress; however I must again ask that anyone who has threads that lack photos to re-instate them otherwise you will be a no-show in the VE section. That comment also applies to Layouts/Locos already featured. This layout: LARRY’S C. A. FARMS – A...

Re: Gneiss Cider - The Fur Covered Years..

The basement shuttle ran flawlessly all day, no derailments and at a good speed. The Ghost was very well received by the youngsters (only one was a bit scared), and a few people spotted the Studio :) Be careful with Grandmas and the ghost - the 'odd' one takes exception to them. As for the Studio, ...

Woooooow, the fiddle yard is more complex than the layout Barry.
Certainly gives you plenty of choice on what to run.
How did the basement system perform?

Not so much a Gnew layout rather the ability to show this double decker (inspired by Glen’s Gold Mine) as a stand alone.

In view of the sad demise of Steve Warrington I thought it was time to highlight this thread which was unfortunately 'over moderated' some years back. SAD NEWS

I've just heard that the Founder of our Scale - Steve Warrington of Back2Bay6 is in a hospice with brain tumours. Prognosis is not good; it was he that had idea for Gn15 and Steve Bennett coined the name.
Hopefully Teebee can re-instate Gn15.info for it is there that the history is told.

Hi David, welcome to the Gnuthouse.
If you look at the overall Challengne section you'll see that the convention is for contestants to start their own thread therein. Therefore if there are 6 entries hopefully we'll see 6 threads illustrating the build progress.

No John the drawings are 1/13.7 (see title of drawing). Answer is therefore as stated by Simon using the new figures relative to this Loco.
