As I have noted on p.1,this thread has been caught up in a 3rd party photo hosting problem, hence most, if not all, photos are now unable to be viewed.

I will shortly post a selection of photos as some compensation, just as I have had to do on other forums.

Re: Exhibition Presentation

:? We seem to be getting a slight thread drift here. I set this thread up to discuss 'presentation', rather than 'composition'. What you have in composition is what is actually on the layout. Presentation is how you show off your composition .All the same, some nice work coming out here.

Time to reactivate. :? There is another aspect to exhibitions, and that is the presentation of the exhibitors themselves. Quite frankly, I've seen too many exhibitors making an exhibition of themselves. Not to mention those who even dress up in pseudo American train driver suits  :? Pseudo......

Only ...

Resetting Password

Just had an email from a well respected (and, incidently, a foundation member) member of this site. His computer crashed, and is trying to reset Gn15, and gNatterbox access/passwords. One of the questions he has to answer is something about a cat, and directs him to a now non existant Gn15 reference...

:D Day 1 of Rail-Ex successfully completed. Last night, when I was supposed to be in bed, I decided to do the 'track cut and diode trick' to stop anything doing a high dive off the end of the layout. Moderately successful.... I miscalculated the momentum effect, and need to set the cuts back a bit. ...

Thanks for all the replies folks. Shame Scott's Lister kit is not available anymore. I will have to scratch build something to fit. I have been able to get the Bachmann On30 tram to go around a 6" radius before. It's has a 41" wheelbase and can be cut down in size. I think Steve Bennett h...

 My farthings worth on this. The larger the wheel diameter, and longer the wheelbase, the greater the minimum radius required. I'd take the Bachmann GM any day over the On30 tram chassis.
