Witch Alarm at the KEG

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

Witch Alarm at the KEG

Postby KEG » Sat Jan 24, 2015 7:29 pm

Today the Aupair Witch Eurelia LeVinsky from Lancre (Discworld) had to land her brooms due to a gear failure near the KEG 15 Inch line. Of course, the KEG staff offered her and her tomcat Arthur a lift to the next broom repair shop.

She expressed her thanks by leaving a few bottles of Love Potion No. 9 for her helpers.

Most of our Diorama Boxes have been shown in this forum already at various occasions.

Our fiddleyard turntable, constructed by JL Toeffelholm, is the latest:

It helps us, to have a few trains ready to send over the layout and to keep the audience entertained.

She is riding her new Harley Davidsen Yorrick Overland Cruiser broom. Found her at Lemax http://www.alles-mini.de/shop/Figuren-und-Ergaenzungen-Figuren-Hexe-ausser-Kontrolle--,art-1369

Removed the cat and added saddlebags, a sleeping bag, position lights, the Yorrick skull plus a repaint.

Ever since Kraehwinkel got twinned with Ankh-Morpork and Lancre, they introduced a Witch Monument at the local park near the railway.

Found most parts at the junkbox. E. G. a peanut can for the base, a dome from a Swdish fleamarket, a witch from Lemax etc.

It seems my witches and the monument are extremely popular with female exibition visitors.
Some even come back to bring their friends. That´s OK with me, I like women.
