The Old KEG Dragon-Steam-Boat

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

The Old KEG Dragon-Steam-Boat

Postby KEG » Fri Jan 15, 2016 3:44 pm

Got around recently to fumble with my old steamboat. Tradition meets Steampunk.

Sooner or later there will be 20 - 25 people, including 2 crew members on board. And one of these swamp dragons of course.

I played around with the dragon boat idea more than a year ago in this thread

Had found the dragon boat hull somewhere in the garbage about 5 years ago.
True, sometimes I am very slow....

I've always enjoyed maidenheads myself Doc! 8)

I'm wondering if there is a swamp dragon on the boat for lighting the boiler? I haven't managed to catch one of the little critters yet.

Found some more suitable passengers for my steam boat. Merchandizing figures from the TinTin film.

They come in approx 1 : 22,5 / 1 : 24 scale. Made by TCC Continuity Holding N.V. / Amsterdam. You can find them at Ebay or at collectors events.
