I've been getting the page unobtainable message since last weekend for the forum, so very pleased to be back! But how do I get to post photos?

I'm still getting the page unobtainable screen?

Now off to see how what I can find elsewhere on the forum since I last visited.

Until it's fixed you can upload photos using the "Attachments" box which you will find below the post text editor. Once an image is uploaded click "Place Inline" to insert the image into a post.

You'll need to resize your post to a reasonable size before uploading

I've been struggling with access all week. Apparently it is my ISP and how it uses the DNS. Tom can help. He just gave me a way to log in.

Every time I try to use my.gn15.info, I have a blank page ... What's going on?

you should not get a blank page - the logon will not work at the moment, will be trying to fix that soon!

I can no longer access the photo section as it gives error message "incorrect password"!!!!
One that I've used for both sites since inception???

Unfortunately the way the password is stored in the forum database has changed - we don't store the password in a readable form, otherwise if hackers got access to the files they would know everyone's password - this is apparently what happened recently at Sony.

This version of the forum software uses a more secure way of encoding your passwords, that means the software Emrys wrote for my.Gn15.info now can't decode the forum's stored password, so thinks you have entered the wrong password.

The new method involves someone writing new code to do this decode and that someone is me......

I need to get a little time to do this and get my brain back into programming mode and I'm a bit busy now so might take some time I'm afraid.

It's not that important now as there are other ways of adding photos directly to the forum, but I know some of you would like to use it, so I will try to fix it when I can.

If you can tell my wife to stop giving me other things to do that would be a great help, but I will not be responsible for loss or damage to your body parts if you try to do this.
