No route found for "GET /viewtopic.php"

but now, instead of seeing a post, I get the above message.

It happened a few days ago. Right now the forum runs fine.

OK It's something I''ve never been able to get to the bottom of. Unfortunately it seems to come and go which makes diagnosing it very difficult.

This error message is getting to be a MAJOR headache for me. Your forum changed recently (format, site type, whatever) and it has been happening ever since then. Perhaps you should change back?

Example 1

I open the forum and I'm already recognized and automatically signed in.
I open the new post folder from the quick links box. I see a list of all new messages
I try to open one, but get the dreaded error message. Same for all the others

Example 2
In frustration, I log off and then log on again.
I open the new post folder from the quick links box. I see NO new messages this time, as the computer thinks I've looked at all the new messages already when I signed in before.
But when I open any other messages, everything works fine.

I reckon then... there no benefit to be recognized or logged on automatically, as my only reward is to get error messages.

SO WHAT GIVES!!!! Somebody fix this for heaven's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been going on for far too long. Gary

I used to suffer from these messages when I stayed signed on so now I sign in each time. As my computer is set to remember sign on details (Google Chrome) it is no big deal. In fact I seem to need to sign on twice.

Don't complain that there are afew small issues, however frustrating,if it wasn't for Tom we may have lost the forum completely.

OK you poor long suffering folks - I think I might have finally found a cure for this.

I've disabled part of the forum's security settings which might have been causing it - I would appreciate reports of whether anyone is still getting this error or not.

Of course this does mean the forum is marginally less secure than before, but hopefully we won't get too many hackers trying to break in.

Isn't this related to the new address change .. ?

There seem to still be visitors accessing the forum through forum.gn15.info

Since I changed my bookmark to gn15.info/forum/ (note the difference in address) I had no problems whatsoever. .

Hard to see this could be security related ..

I find it hard to believe it was all security related too, but I can access the site through forum.gn15.info and coudn't before.

For the technical out there it's Mod_security I've had to disable.
