Want to talk about Sir Arthur Heywood's 15" gauge railways? About modern day minimum gauge lines? Have you found a minimum gauge line you've not seen mentioned on the website? Want directions to one of the railways that is mentioned? Whatever your interest in real minimum gauge lines, post your questions (and answer other modellers' questions) here.
Goodness, where did those four and a bit years since the last post go?
If you have kept an eye on the link by my signature you’d know that my Minimal Facebook group has been keeping me occupied since early 2014. There are now some 2600 members. Coo!
On top of that the Scamp locos now total 80. The i.c. engine can now be swopped in seconds for a battery pack. We took some Scamps to the big Doncaster model engineering show last year and astounded the great and good by running them in battery mode on a tiny layout with 6’ radius curves.
Meanwhile, although other things in life have impinged on getting the railway further round the garden some progress has been made. Here’s a pic or two.

Things are stirring once more on the track laying front. I hope to (finally) report that Phase 1, i.e. the track plan previously posted, will be complete by no later than the end of March. How’s that for sticking the Stockers neck out?
On top of that the presses are whirring in an attempt to get up to speed for an Announcement of truly gargantuan proportions, again, by the end of March (yeah, I do mean March this year, honest).
