The Micro Model Railway Dispatch

A general talking shop for any subject under the sun (even Monty Python). This would also be a good place to make suggestions about the site itself or about these forums (or "fora", if you're particularly pedantic).

The Micro Model Railway Dispatch

Postby Thorness » Tue Dec 21, 2021 9:00 pm

Ian Holmes has been compiling an online magazine specialising in micro layouts which may be of interest to some folk here.

It covers all scales and gauges as long as the result is under the specified 4 square feet. NOT 4 feet square!

Hi Alan

Good to know you keep an eye on the old homestead.

Here’s a quote from Issue 1 to assist:

If you like what you read here, then you can subscribe. Just email MMRDeditor@gmail.com and I’ll put you on the mailing list. You’ll be able to download the magazine a whole week before general release.

Hi Gavin,

Actually that wasn’t my email, it’s a quote, but no problem, I’ve asked Ian Holmes to add you to the list. Any probs, just drop a note in here again and I’ll aim to get them sorted. :-)

Cheers,

You know:
Back in the day, Gn15 modellers ruled the roost in the Micro layout world. So when I started the Micro Model Railway Dispatch I thought, nay looked forward to being inundated with Gn15 micro layouts. I planned to do a Gn15 special section. Sadly, that has not been the case.
If you have a Gn15 micro and would like to see it featured in the pages of The Dispatch, drop me a line MMRDeditor@gmail.com
Perhaps, I can do that Gn15 special yet, I may even pull Purespring Watercress out for a photocall.
