I'm afraid not Simon - it's shipped from the US supplier at a cost of £28+tax and collection charges.
Just recently shipping from States to UK has escalated and it appears that tax is more likely to be charged.
I've given up on buying from States I'll continue to buy from Japan though as I've yet to pay a penny in tax and have bought 6 separate packages so far.
So little time, so many ideas!!!!! GerryB.

did not spot that. suspected by suppliers name it was USA, but presumed Amazon UK was normally UK suppliers.
I got stung on my last purchase from USA, luckily it still did not cost much more than a well known Liverpool supplier. Finding a stockist in UK was problem, which is why I bought from USA, but then noticed it was listed under wrong category.
At least that is one less project to worry about

A V8 engined critter would be a fun project. :D
