Thanks for the comment. Looked at your photos from from NG South. The railway snaking through the forest was an inspiration whilst riding the train at Amberly. Graham had always wanted to build a wooden bridge with bents. Thats why it's on the curve, bent bents!
We realised that the problem of a lack of trains was due to the single line and the length of the layout. Can't do much about the single line, but thats a challenge for the future. So we are going to run it as two layouts joined together, that requires another fiddle yard. So we have a built another one with an even bigger twist than the circular fiddle yard. Has that whet you appetite?
Decided not to go down the route of DCC with sound, but hope to be entering the realms of smellyvision. If i can find the right pongs, sniff this space. We have tried to be "inventive" with the new names, again.
By the way I am the tall one on the left in your photo, Graham is in the middle and on the right is our ex-Chairman Elliott Cowton.
