"KATIE" nameplates - source(s) ?

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

"KATIE" nameplates - source(s) ?

Postby Rodney Hills » Fri Sep 14, 2018 3:45 pm

Hello,

I am seeking a pair of name plates as a gift to go on a locomotive that a friend has on order.

He wants to name it "KATIE".

I notice a number of references here to Gn15 models of Sir Arthur Heywood's "Katie".
However I cannot locate any mention of where the nameplates were sourced.

Any useful pointers would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Regards,
