New Diesel Critter

For discussion of the issues faced when building a model or layout - how to replicate wood, what glues to use, exactly how much weathering can a Gnat take, a good source of detailing accessories - you get the picture, I'm sure.

New Diesel Critter

Postby adamc » Fri Jul 17, 2020 11:46 pm

I'm in the process of designing and building a new diesel , and instead of plasticard I'm making this one out of resin. Heavy design influences from previous models and it was Bill that pointed me in the direction of some tram bogies that will make this cheaper to build than the normal spuds and bec's that I've used before. I'm also going to try and make a replacement chassis for the tram bogie kit and see how that works out
